Literature Text

Always been craving dreams
exorbitantly fantastic -
getting ho-hum instead.
Just kept lynching my neck
on phantasms,
questioning reason,
surrendering to
underwhelming, vexatious weight,
expecting yearned-for zeitgeists.
Prompted by ProjectDFC's  AAA (Amazing Alphabetic April) - a little insomniart for you all.

The Abcedarian
The Abcedarian is an alphabetic poem which features lines or words with successive letters of the alphabet. You can use just words or you can choose to start lines with the subsequent letters.

Let me tell you, this was difficult to do without articles (the, a) and conjunctions (and, or, but, etc.)! Also...it's surprising how many times I messed up the alphabet! I forgot E, W and X and had to re-write a couple of times to make it work! Sheesh! The alphabet is like my best friend and I let it down!

Not quite sure if I got my message across, but interested in feedback and interpretations.

I love your wording here; very "big" words that rack my brain, like vexatious. :3
